Counseling
KPCS offers mental health counseling services for individuals, couples, and families of all ages. Services are confidential; these rights to client confidentiality are further explained in the KPCS Client Informed Consent document located on the Forms page. KPCS strives to maintain a therapeutic environment in which client-specific needs and personality are addressed by eclectic theoretical practice. Individuals
Individual therapy consists of one-on-one interaction with a mental health provider. KPCS feels that counseling requires a collaborative effort between the provider and client, and the client must work to follow through with treatment recommendations.

Family/Couples
Families/Couples may seek mental health treatment to add structure and stability to their family unit/relationship. KPCS will assist the family/couple in reducing conflict in increasing positive communication.

Children/Adolescents
Children and adolescents may participate in mental health services with appropriate parental/guardian consent. KPCS incorporates techniques from art therapy and play therapy when counseling younger children to assist in revealing patterns of conflict, personality, behavior and thought.
