Evaluations
Mental Health Evaluation
This will be a comprehensive evaluation of the client’s mental health. Clients may be required or recommended by the court, law enforcement, employer/future employer, physician, or current mental health provider to seek evaluation.
Evaluations will cover a variety of areas pertinent to mental health including (but not limited to) Developmental History, Cognitive Functioning, Personality Functioning, Intrapsychic concerns/issues, and Interpersonal concerns/issues. Information will be gathered via interview, objective assessment, projective assessment, and behavioral observation. Evaluations may be conducted in multiple sessions.
Depending on the circumstances specific to the individual being evaluated, interviews may be conducted with other professionals involved to produce the most accurate evaluation of the client. These professionals may include social workers, physicians/psychiatrists, teachers, drug and alcohol counselors, and employees of mental health centers. Interviews with anyone other than the client will not be conducted without the appropriate signed consent and authorization of the individual being evaluated. Information will not be shared with any party without signed consent of the client.
